Water & the Science of Snow (Ages 6-12)

Water (H2O) is an amazing molecule. When liquid - it's water, boiled - it's steam, and frozen - it's ice. So how does it become snow? Join us for a day of hands-on exploration as we investigate the amazing water molecule, look at snow crystals, make fake snow, and much more.  Discover how ice crystals become giant icicles, use chemistry to tell when the temperature changes. Explore all of these questions and more as we investigate the science of Winter!  Projects will depend on the ages of the participants.
