Weekend STEAM/Maker Programs
The maker movement is a tech-influenced DIY community that experiments with innovative technologies. From 3D printers, laser cutters, Arduino microcontrollers, Raspberry Pi and many more technologies than we could ever list, makers are experimenting and discovering what they can engineer. However, not all makers require sophisticated tools to create new and creative products.
At scienceSeeds we believe that S.T.E.A.M and making go hand in hand. Children learn best when they are engaged and assembling toys or products that reenforce engineering and STEAM concepts. We have been creating hands-on projects for your children since the day we opened our doors in 2008.
Making is for everyone and we encourage you to join your children and see what your can create together. Children love to see that their parents sometimes struggle to get things right. They like seeing adults make mistakes. They enjoy working collaboratively to discover what they can make. They exchange ideas and push the envelope and are not afraid to try and see if they can get their ideas work.
Join the movement! Get to work and start “making” with your children. Sign up for one of our maker workshops today!
